This past two weeks have been very exciting but disappointing at the same time. The first week I played Dryden. I woke up on Sunday extremely exited and ready to watch football all day long. The first day ended ok, Dryden was ahead by 20 points, but I had two players left. Unfortunately the week didn’t end well because one of my players got hurt causing me to lose.

After Today my team is looking solid. All of my players performed very well except one. As of right now I’m ahead of by forty, but Stewart does have two players left. I’m really hoping I can win this one out, but I can only wait and hope.

This week in class we read the awesome book of Beowulf! Also we learned how to present a story in a better and more interesting way.  We also learned how to connect a challenge with a story. After this week I definitely am proud to know more about the Anglo Saxon and the book of Beowulf.

Also I definitely learned how to tell a story better. I learned that I need to use more emotion and have a better tone. Also I learned that I need to use more hand motion to make the story have life and not be dead. Overall I think that after this week I definitely increased as a reader and storyteller.

An epic is a long narrative poem.  Beowulf definitely meets that criteria because of its length. An Epic also includes a heroic story. An epic includes battles and war with. Finally an epic usually ends with the hero defeating the bad guy.

In Beowulf the hero was Beowulf by defeating the demon. Also Beowulf had heroic features a power and family bloodline. Beowulf also included the epic battle and epic has. Finally I think Beowulf is definitely an Epic as it fits the criteria.

The first thing that makes me happy, is that fantasy football is back. The reason why I am so happy about this, is because I love to watch football and cheer on my players on a Sunday. I also find it easier to do my homework as I do some every timeout. Finally I think it’s great to compete with my friends, especially when I win.

The second thing I’m happy about is the Heat beating the Bucks. I’ve been a Heat fan since I’ve started watching basketball. They haven’t gone this far in the playoffs for years until now. Now that we beat the best team in the league I’m hoping we win it all.
